A couple of accomplishments today
✅ I am officially a licensed amateur radio operator. I passed the Technician exam last week and the FCC issued the license today. Now studying for the next level exam to upgrade to a General license.
✅ I successfully assembed the elliptical machine my wife ordered. No blood and no expletives 😉

We have heavy fog this morning. Driving is a bit dangerous but so far everyone is being sensible.
In October a tornado went through my childhood area. The elementary, middle and high school were damaged and are closed. Last week I drove down. What had been my parents’ home had some major damage but is being renovated by the current owners. Some neighboring homes destroyed.📷
Now that I know I can subscribe to YouTube channels in Feedbin I love that app even more. I can even watch the videos without leaving the app.
This is so much cleaner and easier to keep track of plus I don’t have to see YouTube’s crappy recommendations.
Our daughter, our eldest, is a sophomore. Apparently it is the season now for her to be deluged with postal mail from colleges and universities all over the country. Many of which I’ve never heard of. 🏫

We’re very lucky here to have a no-commercial, music-focused public radio station that is member supported. It focuses on a mix of acoustic, alt-country, indie rock, alternative and world music with a solid mix of local musicians and groups. I’ve been listening to it for years and was thinking it might suit the taste of other people on here since they have a worldwide streaming presence.
KXT streams from their web site and apps but the easiest way to check it out is to tell your able voice assistant Play KXT radio.
