After 2 weeks I’m finally feeling solidly on the road to recovery. I’m still quite weak but eating solid foods is no longer an issue. I’m looking forward to reading my timeline again.

Also the 14 yo is back at school for the first time in a week. The flu+strep combo took quite a toll on him.

9 days ago I got very severe pain in my upper abdomen. Went to the ER to find I had acute pancreatitis so I enjoyed a hospital stay where I couldn’t even drink water. I’m finally on the mend so grateful.

A few days ago our son complained of a sore throat so to urgent care for him. Turns out he had both the flu and strep throat. Since I’m still weak I’m social distancing from my best buddy for awhile. He’s getting better too
