9 days ago I got very severe pain in my upper abdomen. Went to the ER to find I had acute pancreatitis so I enjoyed a hospital stay where I couldn’t even drink water. I’m finally on the mend so grateful.

A few days ago our son complained of a sore throat so to urgent care for him. Turns out he had both the flu and strep throat. Since I’m still weak I’m social distancing from my best buddy for awhile. He’s getting better too

🥲 Got another email where I won't be proceeding to the next step for a job application. I've been repeating in my head how this is normal and it's part of the process, but I guess I can't help but feel a bit sad about it.

Will just make space for this feeling for a bit, then do my best to move on to the next.
