I was aware Adafruit had a standard camera that works with Arduino over serial but I discovered yesterday they have a Weatherproof version with infrared LEDs to support night vision. I’m planning to get one in the near future and give it a try with the Yun. In theory it should be compatible. One particularly cool thing is it has motion detection built into the camera itself. I’m a bit skeptical of how well this works as there doesn’t seem to be a way to control what part of the image is used for motion detection nor a way to adjust sensitivity. I suspect it will detect a lot of spurious motion. But I’m willing to give it a try.
