Our local Japanese market has been on a run of bringing in products from Hokkaido. I picked this up today and it was great. Highly recommended if you like chocolate.

In spite of it being rather cold and windy we had a fun day hiking several trails. Highs in the 40s tomorrow will probably drive us indoors.

This is where you’ll find me almost every day at 7:30am getting my exercise in after seeing my son off to the school bus.

This morning’s sky made a good start to my exercise run

Nature, looking up.

A bunch of small clouds this morning. They’re usually white but today were rather dark.

We’ve had a few days with a morning low in the 60s and reasonable humidity. Summer’s back has been broken. Also, the sky was truly lovely. The combination really had me stepping up my pace. 🏃‍♂️

I’m really into this new “now play” screen on iOS 16. Much more usable. And I don’t recall it matching the color of the background to the album art like this before.

Cool clouds. Not cool weather.

With the heat wave of the past few weeks dawn skies have been a total meh. But yesterday we had a bit of rain (less than a 1 tenth inch) and it had a lingering effect. Dawn today looked awesome!
