American Airlines canceled over a thousand flights the past few days so we were worried. But my wife made it home today just in time for halloween. 🎃

☀️ The sun in in solar cycle 25 and has been much more active. Yesterday’s spikes in x-ray and proton flux caused some radio blackouts. This weekend the geomagnetic flux will spike to G3 so there are alerts for power grids and navigation. Nothing to fear. Facts are here.

Our little dog is all into rest this morning after having a number of teeth extracted yesterday. That procedure didn’t seem to hamper her appetite though.
Another item for an eventful day: dental surgery for our 10 year old dog. Seems to have gone well!

Also we voted today. A number of state amendments as well as city plus some school bonds. We always feel a bit lazy about going but then feel great once we’ve done it. Too many won’t bother.🤷🏽♂️

This is one of my wife’s recent splurge upgrades. I was a bit skeptical it would make a difference but this Vitamix blender delivers a lot of power to it’s rotating blades and makes superior smoothies and aids in sauce making.

We have 4 animals living in our house (not including the 2 teenagers 😉). Our dog likes to lay on her back which seems a bit unusual. Then again she likes to be cradled in our arms,on her back, like a baby as well.🐩

A location of hygge in our home
